WORKSHOPS
2017 Encaustic Painting, Forstall Art Center, Birmingham, AL. This was a day-long painting workshop that taught the basic materials and techniques of painting with pigment suspended in hot wax.
2016 R & F Pigment Sticks, Forstall Art Center, Birmingham, AL. This workshop introduced students to the medium of oil paint sticks. Over the one-day course students completed one full painting and two small studies.

2016 Owens House, The Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center, My advanced painting class created a series of paintings which we donated and installed in the Owens House. We worked closely with the staff to understand the various issues and needs of the children there and made work that responded to those needs and helped to make this place feel welcoming to them.
